Shirelle has a passion for helping others achieve healthy life outcomes. She is the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director at Growth Connections, LLC. Her mission is to offer affirming and impactful services to POC and LGBTQ individuals in Prince George's County and surrounding areas.
Shirelle values providing professional services to individuals and couples, ensuring that their voices are authentically heard during the growth process. Treatment is tailored to client needs while incorporating best practices and including life experiences as tools for success.
Shirelle has been serving in the field of social work for ten years. She has found joy in helping people in marginalized communities including LGBTQ individuals feel supported, heard and valued. When people have the tools, space and the environment to grow, they will. Strength based approaches, active listening and reflection helps people evolve in so many healthy ways.
Shirelle understands the value of clinical supervision and ethical support for new and practicing therapists. She offers supervision to individuals in the state of Maryland seeking clinical licensure or peer to peer support (LCSW-C). She has supervised interns, crisis teams, entry level and experienced professionals.

Dr. Jacquelyn Duval-Harvey is a clinical psychologist and has been licensed in the State of Maryland for 14 years. She was born in St. Lucia, West Indies and immigrated to Brooklyn, New York as an adolescent. Her personal knowledge and clinical training working with English-speaking immigrants has resulted in significant understanding and expertise in family re-unification, challenges related to dual identity and adjustment in multigenerational households.
Dr. Duval-Harvey received her master’s and doctoral degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and her clinical training through the Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York. She moved to Maryland in 1998 to provide administrative, clinical, and supervisory services in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Initially, she provided school-based mental health services in a Baltimore City public school but her last position at Hopkins was as Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Programs.
